Dell’s Power Companion battery packs provide external power to select Dell laptops, as well as up to two smartphones or tablets.

What you’re looking at are Dell’s Power Companion battery packs, and they come in 12,000mAh and 18,000mAh variants that provide external power to select Dell laptops, as well as up to two smartphones, tablets, or other USB-powered devices. They’re surprisingly light and compact, too, like your ordinary high-capacity battery pack, except these ones are capable of juicing up your notebook on the go.

Hopefully, other PC makers, including Apple, are taking notice so we can see more products like these on the market. Or maybe Dell can make ones that support other brands as well. After all, battery life is a concern for just about every laptop owner.

The Dell Power Companions retail for P5,500 and P6,500 for the 12,000mAh and 18,000mAh models, respectively.
