In case you didn’t know, the ASUS ZenFone 4 Max quietly went on sale in Russia for at least 13,900 Russian ruble (around P11,650 or $230) first week of July. Its 5,000mAh battery is a huge upgrade from the ZenFone Max 3’s 4,100mAh cell. Better yet, the smartphone now supports fast charging. But the more significant update here comes in the form of two 13-megapixel cameras on the back.

Second, “Zens” in the word “Citizens” in the invite are colored, suggesting that ASUS Philippines could be unveiling a ZenFone. Whatever it is — the ZenFone 4 Max or some other phone in the ZenFone 4 series, or even a Max and other “Zens” — we don’t know.

Zens? Hmm.

Third, the event will be held at SMX Convention Center. If you look at past launch venues, they’re always huge. This is to accommodate not just the media but ASUS fans as well.

Fourth, the company has already posted a teaser of its new endorser — believed to be Gong Yoo of Train to Busan fame — on its Facebook page.

Four signs. They couldn’t be just a coincidence! What do you think? Is it just our wild imagination, or do you think we’re on to something? Sound off in the comments!
