Go over the comments section of each smartphone brand’s social-media post. Chances are, you will see people asking if they can trade in their device for a new one. Well, guess what? OPPO Philippines will let you do just that.

The company has partnered with AmTrust Mobile Solutions for the latter’s TecProtec Trade-in Program, a device-protection program that promises to give you peace of mind.

Say, you would like to upgrade to the OPPO F9 in Starry Purple, you can do so just by going to a participating concept store. There, your current phone will have its value assessed in only five minutes. Yep, that fast.

OPPO Philippines heard you!

And the good news is the OPPO-AmTrust trade-in program starts on Saturday, September 29. From that day onwards, you can visit any of the OPPO concept stores below to inquire about TecProtec:

  • SM Megamall
  • SM Mall of Asia
  • Tutuban Mall
  • SM Sangandaan
  • Starmall Alabang
  • SM Southmall
  • SM BF Parañaque
  • SM Novaliches
  • SM Fairview
  • Robinsons Nova
  • Fairview Terraces
  • Sta. Lucia Mini Concept
  • SM Marikina
  • SM East Ortigas
  • Robinsons Galleria Ortigas
  • Robinsons Metro East
  • Market Market Taguig
  • Alimall Cubao

Notice that the shops are all in Metro Manila. We remember that Home Credit, a non-bank consumer finance group, used to cater mostly to Metro Manila residents. So we are pretty sure that barring any major issues, the scope of the OPPO-AmTrust TecProtec Trade-In Program will be expanded sometime in the future.
