Remember the OPPO Watch Free? You know, the fitness-focused, non-Wear OS smartwatch that launched alongside the Reno7 5G and Reno7 Pro 5G in some markets?
Apparently, the wearable will officially launch in the Philippines soon. Better yet, we at Revü have come across the OPPO Watch Free’s listing on Shopee, where it will go on sale. It will also be offered on Lazada, but its product page has yet to go live on the online retail platform.
Locally, the device will be available from February 15 for P5,999 or roughly $117 converted. The smartwatch debuted in China in September 2021 with a suggested retail price of ¥549 ($86 or P4,430). Keep in mind that pricing for the Chinese market tends to be lower due to import taxes and other factors here.

The OPPO Watch Free comes with a 1.64-inch AMOLED touch display protected by 2.5D curved glass. It has a resolution of 280 x 456 pixels and supports the DCI-P3 color gamut for accurate colors. For connectivity, the Watch Free has built-in Bluetooth 5.0, allowing it to pair with devices running Android 6.0 or iOS 10.0 or later.
The smartwatch features more than 100 sports modes and automatically identifies a few exercise modes, including running, walking, rowing machine, and elliptical machine. OPPO‘s OSleep sleep-monitoring feature rates the quality of your rest and helps you keep track of your risk of sleep apnea.
You also can keep wearing the Watch Free in the shower or at the beach, thanks to its 5ATM water-resistant design. Located on the rear of the watch are Sp02, heart-rate, and ambient-light sensors.
The 230mAh battery is rated for 14 days of typical use and supports magnetic charging using the included charger. OPPO says that you can use the Watch Free for one day with just five minutes of charging.
