The Redmi A1 will be available in the country starting October 29. And if you purchase it anytime between that date and November 13, you can get the phone for only P3,999 (roughly $68). Outside the promo period, the Redmi A1 will be sold at its suggested retail price of P4,499 ($76). But here’s the thing: Xiaomi says that as an added, post-promo bonus, it will give a free Bluetooth speaker to those who will buy the handset after the 13th, until supplies last.

The upcoming product is as entry-level as entry-level smartphones come. However, it looks more expensive than it really is, thanks to a leather texture finish.

One of the highlights of the Redmi A1 is a 5,000mAh battery with 10-watt charging that should be able to give you up to 30 call hours, 22 hours of video playback, and 161 hours of music playback. The phone likewise counts its dual 8-megapixel camera setup on the back, 5-megapixel selfie sensor, 6.52-inch LCD screen, and MediaTek Helio A22 chip as part of its key features. You can refer to the press release below for more of its details.
