Two of Xiaomi‘s Civi smartphones in China are on their way to the global market. Or so it seems.
The Xiaomi 13 Lite has appeared on the Google Play Console database as a mix of the Xiaomi Civi 2 and Xiaomi Civi 1S. The device’s design in the image that accompanies the listing is similar to that of the 1S,. However, the few specs revealed — a Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 5G processor, a screen with a 1,080 x 2,400 resolution, and Android 12 — and the code name “Ziyi” indicate that the previous reports claiming that the Xiaomi 13 Lite is a rebranded Civi 2 are true.

Besides the specifications mentioned earlier, the Civi 2 launched in China in September 2022 with front-facing LED flashes used to to assist the 32-megapixel main and 32-megapixel ultrawide selfie cameras in low-light situations — a first for the company. The handset likewise features a rear camera setup that includes a 50-megapixel primary sensor paired with a 20-megapixel ultrawide lens and a 2-megapixel macro unit; a 4,500mAh battery with 67-watt fast-charging support; and a 6.55-inch AMOLED display protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 5.
There’s a good chance that the Xiaomi 13 Lite will be released in the Philippines, considering that the Xiaomi 12 Lite and Xiaomi Mi 11 Lite mid-priced phones became available in the country.
