The company has revealed that the Vivo V27 series will get its global debut on March 1 (Philippine time). Again, that’s for the worldwide unveiling. We don’t have any updates yet on the local announcement.

The series is expected to include the Vivo V27 Pro, Vivo V27, and Vivo V27e, though we’re guessing the latter will go official weeks after the Pro and non-Pro are launched, similar to last year’s V25 lineup‘s case.

The microsite already shows the key specs of the Vivo V27 series. A 1/1.56-inch Sony IMX766V sensor with optical image stabilization, Aura Light Portrait, and Portrait mode should make capturing bright and clear night portraits easier.

The units have a color-changing back and sport a screen with a 60-degree curvature and a punch hole at the top center. They’re thin and light, with the Noble Black color variant being only 7.36mm thick and the Magic Blue, Flowing Gold, and Emerald Green coming in at 7.4mm.

Word has it the Vivo V27 series are rebranded Vivo VS16 smartphones, which debuted in China in December 2022. The S16 Pro with a MediaTek Dimensity 8200 5G chip is priced from ¥3,299 (around P26,577 or $480), while the Qualcomm Snapdragon 870-based S16 and Samsung Exynos 1080-powered S16e retail starting at ¥2,499 (P20,132 or $364) and ¥2,099 (P16,909 or $306), respectively.
