Vivo fans in the Philippines have something to look forward to from the brand next week.

(Update, March 22: The vivo V27 5G and vivo V27e have arrived in the Philippines!)

Vivo‘s local unit has announced that the Vivo V27e, which debuted globally for $289 (around P15,893) alongside the Vivo V27 Pro and Vivo V27 barely two weeks ago, will be launched in the country March 22.

As with the other members of the series, the Vivo V27e is an imaging-focused smartphone that has the “Aura Light Portrait System” as its highlight. That’s Vivo marketing speak for the built-in ring light on the back of the device that supposedly “replaces the usual camera flash and gives images a soft light effect usually found in photos done in professional studio setups.”

Vivo Philippines announces the Vivo V27e‘s launch date. Lavender Purple cutie…

The rear-camera setup consists of a 64-megapixel main sensor with optical image stabilization or OIS and 2-megapixel macro and 2-megapixel depth units. Up front, housed in a punch hole at the top center of the 6.63-inch 120Hz AMOLED display, is a 32-megapixel selfie camera.

If you’d rather have a flat-screened device, then this should be the Vivo V27 series phone that you should consider. Just take note that the V27e is a 4G handset; it’s powered by a MediaTek Helio G99 chipset. Other features include a 4,600mAh battery that supports 66-watt fast charging and Android 13-based FuntouchOS 13.

We’re not sure if the Vivo V27 5G will be launched in the Philippines on the 22nd, too. But we’re certain that it will become available here as well, as it’s already listed on the company’s local site.
