Four months after the OPPO A78 5G became available in the Philippines, its 4G sibling has made its way here as well.

OPPO Philippines has announced that the OPPO A78 4G is already in the country, fetching a suggested retail price of P13,999 (roughly $255) — the same SRP of the OPPO A77s at launch. The latter now retails at P12,999 ($237), while the newly released model’s 5G version still goes for P14,999 ($274).

You can purchase the OPPO A78 4G in Aqua Green or Mist Black from the brand’s official Lazada store. And if you do so at any time until July 31, you get a free Bluetooth speaker on top of a 15% cashback voucher capped at P1,000 ($18).

Unlike its Qualcomm Snapdragon 695-based 5G counterpart, the 4G variant relies on a Snapdragon 680 chipset paired with 8GB of expandable RAM and 256GB of storage. It is equipped with a 5,000mAh battery that can be charged up to 67 watts courtesy of the company’s SUPERVOOC technology, allowing you to top it up from 0% to 100% in just 45.5 minutes.

The smartphone likewise packs a 6.43-inch AMOLED screen with FHD+ resolution and support for 90Hz refresh rate; a 50-megapixel dual-rear camera; an 8-megapixel selfie shooter placed in a small punch-hole cutout on the upper-left side of the display; dual stereo speakers; and Android 13-based ColorOS 13.1.
