Following its preorder announcement earlier this month, Huawei‘s latest fashion-forward smartwatch is now available in the Philippines. The Huawei Watch GT 4 comes in two watch sizes — 46mm and 41mm, which we featured in a recent video.

You get two watch styles and strap options for the 46mm model, whereas the smaller 41mm variant has three. Design-wise, both retain the modern aesthetics of previous generations and are IP68-rated and capable of handling free diving. And like other Huawei wearables, the Watch GT 4 can connect to non-Huawei smartphones based on Android, as well as modern iPhones.

Locally, the most affordable variants of the Huawei Watch GT 4 come with a black fluororubber band and are priced at P12,999 or roughly $229 for both sizes. The price goes up to P18,999 ($335) if you opt for the stainless steel version of the 46mm and 41mm models.

You can also trade in your old Watch or any non-Huawei smartwatch for the Watch GT 4 to get a discount, on top of a P3,000 ($53) discount voucher, until October 31. This offer is valid in select Huawei stores nationwide.

The Huawei Watch GT 4 brings a new octagonal watch face to the bigger 46mm edition, while the 41mm watch sports a classic timepiece design, with its perfectly round and flat display. Both use sturdy 316L stainless steel, which is the industry standard among watchmakers, including luxury Swiss brands.

It also introduces new and improved fitness and health-tracking features, such as the ability to measure your heart rate and detect irregular patterns that might indicate arrhythmia or more serious heart problems. Sleep Breathing Analysis has been added to the Huawei Health app as well, and this offers deeper analysis of your breathing quality, to help you watch for signs of sleeping disorders like sleep apnea.
