HONOR has announced the follow-up to the HONOR 90, which debuted in the Philippines for P24,990 (roughly $452 converted) back in August.

The new HONOR 100 lineup comprises two models for the Chinese market — the HONOR 100 and HONOR 100 Pro. And true to the leaks, both smartphones flaunt equally distinctive but different designs headlined by a peculiar-looking camera island. The Pro variant, in particular, showcases a large, oval-shaped camera module and two-tone color options in blue and purple.

Notably, the HONOR 100 and HONOR 100 Pro also list a self-developed RF chip for improved cellular performance in low-signal areas as one of their highlights. They come with a quad-curved 1.5K OLED panel with a 120Hz refresh rate and 3,840Hz PWM dimming, along with 100-watt fast-charging support.

As expected, the standard variant arrives as the first phone powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Gen 3, the company’s latest and most powerful mobile chipset to date for midrange handsets and tablets. Meanwhile, the HONOR 100 Pro launches with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 under the hood, essentially putting it on a par with flagship devices in terms of performance.

In China, the HONOR 100 starts at ¥2,499 ($352 or P19,477) for 12GB RAM and 256GB of storage and goes up to a 16GB and 512GB RAM and storage configuration priced at ¥2,999 ($422 or P23,374). The Pro version, on the other hand, has a suggested retail price of ¥3,399 ($479 or P26,491) for the 12GB/256GB config. The 16GB/256GB, 16GB/512GB, and 16GB/1TB models cost ¥3,699 ($521 or P28,830), ¥3,999 ($563 or P31,168), and ¥4,399 ($620 or P34,285), respectively.

Like their predecessors, the HONOR 100 and HONOR 100 Pro are being marketed as class-leading camera phones with an emphasis on vlogging and on-the-go video production. As such, both models come equipped with 50-megapixel cameras on the front and back, although it should be noted that the Pro version distinguishes itself with a 32-megapixel telephoto camera and a depth sensor up front in a pill-shaped cutout.
