There’s no sign of the newly announced Infinix Hot 40 series on any of Infinix Mobile Philippines’ shopping platforms yet. In Nigeria, though, the brand has already released the lineup.

(Update, December 23: The Infinix Hot 40 Pro has arrived in the Philippines!)

(Update, December 15: The Infinix Hot 40i is now available in the Philippines for as low as P4,999 [$90]!)

The 4GB/128GB, 8GB/128GB, and 8GB/256GB variants of the base model, the Infinix Hot 40i, sell for NGN99,990 (roughly P7,030 or $127), NGN122,900 (P8,641 or $156), and NGN134,900 (P9,484 or $171), respectively. The regular Infinix Hot 40 with 8GB RAM and 256GB storage is priced at NGN168,600 (P11,854 or $213). And the Infinix Hot 40 Pro with the same memory configuration costs NGN195,500 (P13,745 or $247).

The just-launched smartphone series aims to “provide gamers of all budgets an action-packed smartphone to level up their mobile entertainment experience.”

All three members of the lineup come with a 5,000mAh battery that will let give you up to two hours of call time when the power is as low as 5% if you enable Ultra Power Saving mode. They also have Infinix’s Xboost Game Engine, a feature that helps users tailor their gaming settings; Android 13-based user interface; a 32-megapixel selfie camera; and a side-mounted fingerprint sensor.

The Infinix Hot 40 Pro and Hot 40 share many specs. It’s just that the Pro version upgrades its 6.78-inch screen to a panel with a 120Hz refresh rate instead of just 90Hz; the processor to a 7nm MediaTek Helio G99 from a 12nm MediaTek Helio G88; and the main rear camera to a 108-megapixel shooter from a 50-megapixel one.

The Infinix Hot 40i, on the other hand, gets a 12nm Unisoc T606 chipset, a 6.56-inch 90Hz display, and support for 18-watt charging. You can see the full specs at the end of this article.
