The year isn’t even over yet, but TECNO Mobile has already announced it will launch another member of the SPARK 20 series in January.

In a press statement released today, the Transsion Holdings brand reveals it will kick off 2024 with the launch of the TECNO SPARK 20 Pro Plus. Recall that TECNO just rolled out the SPARK 20C, SPARK 20, and SPARK 20 Pro, with the latter becoming available in the Philippines starting yesterday, December 19.

The SPARK 20 Pro Plus promises to deliver multiple upgrades in photography and videography functionalities with a 108-megapixel ultrasensing main rear camera that’s housed in a new Quadrant Star Array camera-module design.

With the lineup positioned as a trendy-looking smartphone series, it’s no surprise that one of the highlights of the device is its 56.5-degree double-curved design for that slimline look and comfortable grip. The green unit shown in the official press render is wrapped in faux leather, so we’re not sure if there will be versions using a different material. Guess we’ll have to wait for the launch.

Other confirmed specs of the TECNO SPARK 20 Pro Plus include a curved AMOLED screen with a 120Hz refresh rate and 1,000 nits of peak brightness; a 32-megapixel selfie camera; a MediaTek Helio G99 processor; an Android 14-based user interface; and dual microphones for noise canceling.

The regular Pro model is priced at P7,499 (around $135) in the Philippines, so expect the Pro Plus variant to be affordable as well — if and when it does arrive locally.
