With the turn of the year comes a new series from realme. And the Philippines is one of the markets to get it first.

(Update, January 20: The initial price of the realme Note 50 is even lower!)

The realme Note 50 is scheduled to arrive in the country, with the initial selling set for 7:30 p.m. on January 23 on the brand’s official store on TikTok Shop — a move following realme’s recent record-breaking sales in one day on the said platform, the highest in TikTok Philippines’ history.

You can purchase the smartphone in Sky Blue or Midnight Black color variant for only P3,599 (roughly $64).

Don’t be surprised about the price. The Note series is positioned as a long-lasting value lineup, after all. In an open letter, realme CEO and founder Sky Li said that the Note series reflects the company’s commitment to excellence in the entry-level category, where they will demonstrate their standards in quality control and precise production.

The realme Note 50 is equipped with a large, 6.7-inch HD+ screen with a 90Hz resolution; an ultra-slim profile at just 7.99mm; and an IP54 dust-and-water-resistance rating. It’s powered by a Unisoc T612 processor paired with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of expandable storage. There’s a 13-megapixel dual camera on the back, a 5-megapixel shooter up front, and a fingerprint sensor on the side.

realme adopts what it calls “splicing philosophy” here, as shown in the realme Note 50’s design, where the top showcases a shimmery finish and the bottom, a matte finish. Sort of like how devices such as the realme C51 look.

If you’d like to know more about the phone, go to the brand’s TikTok Shop early — at 6:30 p.m. — for an in-depth product talk.
