Both phones will be available on the local market starting April 27, with local pricing set at P15,999 (around $278) for the Huawei nova 12 SE and P12,999 ($226) for the Huawei nova 12i. To celebrate their release, Huawei’s throwing in a free Huawei Band 8 worth P2,599 ($45), free shipping, and a limited-time P1,000 ($17) voucher if you snag one on Shopee, Lazada, TikTok, or Huawei’s official online store. Shopee users get an extra treat with exclusive discounts on Shopee Mall during its 5.5 sale event.

The nova 12 SE and nova 12i arrive with a 108-megapixel main camera with in-sensor zoom for lossless-quality shots up close, displays that support a 90Hz refresh, 256GB of internal storage, and fast wired charging up to 66 watts for the nova 12 SE out of the box. They also boot Huawei’s latest EMUI 14 software with AppGallery, which makes it easier than ever to download and install essential apps, including some must-haves from Google.

If you need a better display, faster charging, and a higher-resolution front camera for selfies and vlogs, then you may want to shell out a bit more cash for the SE variant.

Team REVU Founded by Alora Uy Guerrero and Ramon "Monch" Lopez, REVU Philippines is the product of 42 combined years in the media trenches — long enough to see gadgets rise, platforms fall, and deadlines multiply. Between them, they've shaped content for Yahoo, T3, Techie, TV5, MEGA, GadgetMatch, and Gadgets, with a few strategic side quests in retail, PR, and marketing. We're a lean team, which means no filler and no fluff, just the stories worth telling. Between chasing kids, specs, and the perfect camera angle, we brew coffee, shoot content, play video games, watch hoops, blast our favorite bands, and somehow still hit our deadlines. REVU is our passion project, built on the belief that tech journalism should have as much style as it does substance — and preferably enough caffeine to power a small server farm.
