The next smartphone from realme is just around the corner.

(Update, April 11: The realme GT Neo6 SE is now official!)

The brand has finally revealed that the realme GT Neo6 SE will debut in China April 11. The device might launch globally, considering realme founder and CEO Sky Li revealed in January that the GT series will return to the international market in 2024.

The unveiling of the realme GT Neo6 SE will mark the official introduction of a 6,000-nit screen on a phone, even brighter than the current brightest mobile display in the industry — that of the HONOR Magic6 Pro. The panel has 1,600 nits of global maximum brightness and lets users adjust the brightness manually up to 1,000 nits. It comes with an advanced Greenfield AI eye protection; uses 8T LTPO technology and BOE S1 luminescent materials; and offers Pro-XDR ultra-high dynamic function, 0.5Hz to 120Hz of adaptive refresh rate, 3+1 Pulse low-frequency flicker, 2,160Hz high-frequency PWM dimming, and 2,500Hz instantaneous touch-sampling rate.

That’s not all. The screen gets a 1.5K resolution, 100% DCI-P3 color gamut, 94.2% screen-to-body ratio, and bezels as narrow as 1.36mm, too.

Four days ago, realme showed off the silver color variant of the GT Neo6 SE. You can see how it looks in the video above, in case you have’t seen it yet.

The Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Plus Gen 3 is confirmed to power the device. The newly released processor, which debuted on the OnePlus Ace 3V, introduces on-device AI processing, Wi-Fi 7 connectivity, and a Cortex-X4 CPU core.

Rumor has it that the realme GT Neo6 SE is packed with up to 16GB of RAM and 1TB of storage, a 5,500mAh battery that supports 100-watt fast charging, and realme UI 5 on top of Android 14.

In an open letter shared by company vice president and global marketing president Chase Xu on Chinese social media platform Weibo, he said, “The release of each generaton of GT Neo drives the entire industry forward and accelerate the popularity of flagship experiences … Our goal is clear. If there is ‘something’ in the industry, we want to be the best. If there is ‘nothing’ in the industry, we want to be the pioneer.”
