Get ready, mobile gamers. RedMagic’s first gaming tablet is making its global debut soon.

(Update, October 3: Here’s how much the RedMagic Nova Gaming Tablet is listed for in the Philippines!)

On September 27, barely three weeks after its launch in China, the RedMagic Nova Gaming Tablet is set to take the international stage. And while we don’t know how much it is going to cost globally, take note that the new product is priced from ¥3,999 (roughly P31,700 in Philippine pesos and $562 in U.S. dollars) for the Chinese market.

Unsurprisingly, the Nova stands out as a gameplay beast. It is powered by the exclusive Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 Leading Edition processor, delivering blazing-fast speeds with a CPU frequency reaching 3.4GHz and a GPU clocking in at 1GHz. Paired with up to 24GB LPDDR5X RAM and 1TB UFS 4.0 storage, this tablet delivers a serious punch, at least on paper, achieving a staggering Antutu benchmark score of 2,352,902.

The device relies on the Nubia sub-brand’s PAD Cooling System ICE 2.0 with a 9-layer heat dissipation design for lowering core temperature by a significant 25℃. The cooling system is further enhanced by a first-of-its-kind 20,000 RPM internal fan, a 3D heat pipe, and a 3D internal circulation air duct.

Available in Cyclone and Snowfall color variants

At the front and center of the RedMagic Nova Gaming Tablet is a 10.9-inch 2.8K high-refresh-rate display with a 16:10 aspect ratio and SGS certification for blue-light filtering. The 144Hz refresh rate and 840Hz instant sampling rate should mean smooth visuals and responsive gameplay. RedMagic has even included Genshin Impact super-resolution technology to enhance the game’s visual fidelity.

Keeping the RedMagic Nova’s lights on is a massive 10,100mAh battery that exceeds the capacity of many tablets with a size of over 12 inches and can last up to 18.7 hours. It has support for 120-watt fast charging, allowing the Nova to reach 50% capacity in just 15 minutes and fully charge in around 45 minutes.

The company’s latest offering is running RedMagic OS 9.5 and comes loaded with functions to improve your gameplay. Expect features like Mora, an intelligent system assistant that enables voice commands and smart language support, and RedMagic Cube AI, which is designed to enhance your gaming experience with AI triggers, audio-visual probes, smart navigators, and customizable controls. There’s motion sensing, too, so you can translate device movements into commands.

RedMagic’s Gravity X Platform 2.0 offers several modes, including handheld, host, cloud gaming, and VR/AR. Project your screen onto VR/AR headsets for an immersive experience, or use the Nova as a host, connecting to larger displays and using a keyboard and mouse for extensive gaming and multitasking. It’s compatible with various gaming controllers and supports streaming from platforms like Xbox, Steam, PlayStation, and Epic.

And it doesn’t hurt that the RedMagic Nova Gaming Tablet looks every bit of the gaming tablet that it is, complete with a custom RGB lights and a transparent section made of lens-grade aluminum silicon glass that’s complemented by an integrated aviation aluminum body.
