Mobile gaming is in for another exciting time with the debut of RedMagic’s latest gaming phones in China and the upcoming global release of one of them.

(Update, December 3: Find out the global RedMagic 10 Pro’s pricing and availability details!)

On paper, the newly announced RedMagic 10 Pro Plus and RedMagic 10 Pro seem like absolute beasts, boasting a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite 5G processor and some seriously impressive specs.

The two devices share a lot in common, like a super-fast UFS 4.1 Pro storage and a cutting-edge cooling system that combines a massive vapor chamber with liquid metal and active cooling — a first in the smartphone world. They also pack a 6.85-inch AMOLED display with a couple of firsts for a screen with the camera placed underneath the panel: 95.3% screen-to-body ratio, 144Hz refresh rate, 1.5K resolution, and 2,000 nits of peak brightness. The display likewise comes with super-narrow bezels and a 960Hz touch-sampling rate.

The RedMagic 10 Pro Plus takes things up a notch with a huge 7,050mAh silicon-nitride battery and 120-watt fast charging, compared to the Pro’s still-respectable 6,500mAh battery and 80-watt quick charging. Plus, the Pro Plus offers up to a whopping 24GB of RAM and 1TB of storage.

The version on the right side is the Golden Saga Edition, which features a more premium design, better cooling, and higher RAM and storage (24GB of RAM and 1TB of storage)

RedMagic didn’t hold back on the gaming features either. The in-house Red Core R3 chip should provide smooth 120fps gaming at a high resolution, and the 520Hz shoulder keys are designed to give you that extra edge in competitive play. Plus, the Nubia brand kept the 3.5mm headphone jack for those who prefer wired audio.

Camera-wise, both phones sport a triple camera setup with a 50-megapixel main sensor, a 50-megapixel ultrawide shooter, and a 2-megapixel macro lens. And for selfies, there’s a 16-megapixel under-display camera.

If you’re in China, you can preorder these powerhouses now, with prices starting at ¥4,999 (roughly P40,664 in Philippine pesos and $693 in U.S. dollars) for the RedMagic 10 Pro and ¥5,999 (P48,803 or $832) for the Pro Plus model. For the rest of us, mark your calendars for December 3, when the RedMagic 10 Pro will be making its global launch.
