The wait is over. TECNO has officially launched the CAMON 50 Series in the Philippines. Following an aggressive preorder campaign, the new imaging-focused smartphones are now available for purchase at authorized TECNO physical stores and e-commerce partners nationwide.

It is hard not to appreciate the engineering TECNO has packed into this generation, particularly regarding durability. For the first time in the lineup, the series features triple protection ratings of IP68, IP69, and IP69K, meaning these phones are designed to resist dust, water immersion, and even high-pressure, high-temperature water jets. This ruggedness is complemented by a MIL-STD-810 military-grade certification against drops and harsh conditions.
But of course, the camera system is still the main event here. The TECNO CAMON 50 Ultra 5G’s setup, in particular, includes a 50-megapixel main shooter using a 1/1.56-inch Sony LYTIA 700C Ultra sensor, an 8-megapixel ultra-wide, and a 50-megapixel front camera. Under the hood, the Ultra model is powered by a 4nm MediaTek Dimensity 7400 Ultimate chipset. It sports a 6.78-inch curved 1.5K AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and Gorilla Glass protection. To power extensive photo shoots and heavy daily usage, TECNO equipped the series with a 6,500mAh battery supported by a 70-watt Ultra Charge standard.
