The second quarter of 2026 is officially underway, and Antutu’s April benchmark numbers reveal how the silicon landscape continues to evolve. If you want top-tier performance right now, the data shows an intense Android race where “Ultra” models reign supreme, and large-screen devices are pushing boundaries just as hard as their compact gaming counterparts.

Top 10 flagship smartphones: An ‘Ultra’ gathering

April saw a dominant showing of “Ultra” models in the premium tier, though one trend remains clear: Qualcomm’s absolute dominance with its Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5. The chip maker secured nine out of 10 spots on the flagship chart.

In first place is the iQOO 15 Ultra. Positioned as a true “Performance Ultra” rather than a purely camera-centric phone like other brands’ models, it maximized its Qualcomm silicon to lead the pack with an average score of 4,126,940. Just slightly behind at No. 2 is its standard sibling, the iQOO 15. Even without active air cooling, it posted a competitive 4,102,621 points, proving it’s a balanced and accessible powerhouse.

Rounding out the top three is the gaming-focused Red Magic 11 Pro Plus. Armed with aggressive performance tuning, active air cooling, a flat back, and a punch-hole-free screen, it secured 4,098,742 points. Notably, the OnePlus Ace 6 Ultra sits at No. 6, holding the distinction of being the lone MediaTek Dimensity 9500-powered smartphone on the flagship list this month.

Top 10 sub-flagship smartphones: MediaTek’s undisputed territory

Looking at the sub-flagship rankings, MediaTek’s stranglehold on the market shows no signs of loosening. Devices powered by the Dimensity 8000 series locked out the competition for another month.

The iQOO Z11, powered by the Ultra edition of the Dimensity 8500, dominated the chart with an average score of 2,323,047. The processor inherits MediaTek’s all-big-core architecture but dials up the clock speeds for maximum output. Following closely is the HONOR Power2 equipped with the Dimensity 8500 Elite at 2,206,038 points, and the OPPO K15 Pro running the Dimensity 8500 Super at 2,156,817 points. By continuing to refine its architecture, the Taiwanese chip manufacturer is delivering flagship-tier muscle at a midrange price point, leaving no room for competitors to breathe in this segment.

Top 10 tablets: Large-screen productivity vs. compact gaming beasts

The tablet market is currently experiencing a clash between high-performance, large-screen models and dedicated compact gaming handhelds.

Taking the crown this month is the vivo Pad6 Pro, a large-screen flagship powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5, which racked up an impressive average score of 4,095,813. Hot on its heels at No. 2 is the Lenovo Legion Y700 Gen 5 at 4,076,936 points. This unit proves that compact tablets built specifically for extreme gaming and aggressive thermal dissipation can trade blows with the biggest slates on the market.

The OPPO Pad 5 Pro takes the third spot with 4,030,293 points. Meanwhile, the newly released REDMI K Pad 2 makes a strong debut at No. 4; powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 9500, it brings serious, specialized competition to the small-screen market. Overall, however, Qualcomm maintained a tight grip on the premium tablet board.
