If you happened to walk through the SM Mall of Asia yesterday, May 30, you probably noticed a huge crowd that looked less like a technology launch and more like a pop concert. HONOR Philippines just pulled off its biggest first-day sale event ever, treating the nationwide arrival of the HONOR 600 and HONOR 600 Pro with the kind of celebratory spectacle usually reserved for stadium tours.

Leading the charge at the event was actor and musician James Reid, alongside celebrities like Ashley Sarmiento and Rave Victoria, and a lineup of local beauty queens.

Coincidentally, this turnout comes right as HONOR cements its position as a major powerhouse in the local tech scene. As shown in the shipment data from industry analyst firm Omdia, HONOR officially broke into the top five smartphone vendors in the Philippines for the first quarter of 2026, capturing a solid 10% market share just behind legacy giants like OPPO, Xiaomi, and Samsung.

This local surge perfectly aligns with the brand’s aggressive expansion across the region. As we previously reported in our breakdown of the Southeast Asian smartphone market for Q1 2026, HONOR has been rapidly gaining ground in neighboring markets, even climbing to the No. 4 spot in Malaysia with a 15% market share.

Now that the high-profile preorder window — complete with its Mercedes-Benz EQA 250 promo giveaway — has officially wrapped up, the HONOR 600 and HONOR 600 Pro are officially available nationwide. You can find them on shelves at physical HONOR kiosks and authorized retailers across the country, as well as on the company’s official Lazada, Shopee, and TikTok Shop digital storefronts.

It is easy to see why buyers are showing up in droves. Between the 7,000mAh silicon-carbon battery that refuses to die, the ultra-durable IP69-rated builds, and that highly addictive AI Image to Video 2.0 rendering engine, these phones — priced from ₱28,999 (roughly $470) — pack a lot of disruptive tech for the price.

If you are wondering whether the standard model or the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite-powered Pro is the better fit for your pocket, we have already spent plenty of quality time with both.
