The fitness trackers we saw debut in Thailand are officially launching in the Philippines on May 22, but you can get a generous early-bird discount if you move now.

When we were on the ground in Bangkok covering HUAWEI‘s global event, the company rolled out everything from ultra‑thin flagship tablets to luxury smartwatches studded with 99 natural diamonds. Those high‑end flexes grabbed the spotlight first, but the devices built for everyday life — the new HUAWEI WATCH FIT 5 Pro and HUAWEI WATCH FIT 5 — are the ones that really stick.

And if you want one, the preorder window is officially open.

Until 6 p.m. on May 21, HUAWEI Philippines is running an early-bird deposit promo. Throwing down a ₱500 (roughly $8) deposit locks in up to ₱2,700 ($44) off the Pro model’s price or up to ₱2,100 ($34) off the standard version. What sweetens the deal is the bundle of launch rewards, which maxes out at ₱6,774 ($111) in value.

Here is the breakdown of the deposit perks:

  • HUAWEI WATCH FIT 5 Pro: Buyers get a free pair of HUAWEI FreeBuds SE 2, a two-year warranty (one standard, one extended), a three-month HUAWEI Health+ membership, and one month of Watch Face VIP access.
  • HUAWEI WATCH FIT 5: You get the exact same warranty and software perks, but the wireless earbuds are swapped out for a free Thermos.

The company is also offering 0% installment plans for up to 24 months, with balance payments opening up right after the deposit window closes on May 21.

Early-bird offers

Trimming the fat, keeping the essentials

After wearing the regular WATCH FIT 5 for two weeks, the appeal is obvious. It doesn’t try to replace your phone. Instead, it leans hard into being an excellent, no-nonsense health companion.

The standard model tips the scale at just 27 grams without its strap and measures a razor‑thin 9.5 millimeters. Slip it on and it practically disappears. Yet inside that slim frame, the brand managed to pack a bright, flexible LTPO display that peaks at 2,500 nits — no more wrist‑squinting under the sun. The screen also supports an adaptive 1Hz refresh rate for the always‑on display, keeping battery drain impressively low.

If you opt for the HUAWEI WATCH FIT 5 Pro, the display is upgraded to a 1.92-inch AMOLED LTPO peaking at 3,000 nits, and the build quality gets a serious bump. It swaps out the standard aluminum alloy for a premium aerospace-grade titanium frame and 2.5D sapphire glass.

Flagship tracking without the flagship drain

Both models benefit from HUAWEI’s overhauled TruSense system. The new six-LED, six-photodiode array is engineered to cut through signal noise, delivering rock-solid continuous heart rate and blood oxygen tracking.

The Pro version takes it a step further, adding an ECG function, pulse wave arrhythmia analysis, and a diabetic risk study feature. It also includes a 40-meter free dive certification for underwater use. Sleep tracking is also more granular across the board, using American Academy of Sleep Medicine standards, while a new Nap Recap feature breaks down exactly how much recovery you pulled from a quick 20-minute rest.

If you run through dense city blocks, the five-star dual-band Sunflower GPS positioning is built to hold a signal even among high-rises. And for those chained to a laptop, guided mini-workouts target 11 different muscle groups to ease stiffness right from your chair.

The HUAWEI WATCH FIT 5 Series knows its lane. It skips battery‑hungry app ecosystems to focus entirely on accurate and comprehensive health tracking and reliable endurance. If that’s exactly what you want on your wrist, the early‑bird promo is live now on the HUAWEI Online Store.
