RedMagic isn’t wasting any time. Hot on the heels of yesterday’s RedMagic 11S Pro and RedMagic 11S Pro Plus debut in China, the nubia sub-brand has already confirmed the non-Pro Plus’ international release plans. If you’ve been waiting for the next bleeding-edge gaming smartphone to hit the global market, circle May 27 on your calendar.
As expected, the international RedMagic 11S Pro pulls no punches when it comes to raw performance. Just like its Chinese counterpart, it will be driven by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 Leading chipset. That’s essentially the same blistering, overclocked Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 for Galaxy we previously tested in the Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra. The top-shelf silicon is flanked by the company’s proprietary RedCore R4 dedicated gaming chip and the Energy Cube 3.0 hardware-software optimization engine. To keep the thermals in check, the phone retains the liquid metal cooling system and a high-powered 24,000 RPM fan, which we saw on the RedMagic 11 Pro.
Up front, the device sports a large 6.85-inch AMOLED display. It pushes a crisp 1.5K resolution at a buttery 144Hz refresh rate, stretching across a near-bezelless 95.3% screen-to-body ratio. Keeping the panel entirely uninterrupted is a 16-megapixel selfie shooter tucked neatly beneath the glass, right alongside an ultrasonic under-display fingerprint reader.

RedMagic’s announcement
Perhaps the most interesting twist for the international market, however, lies in the power department. While the Chinese 11S Pro debuted with a huge 8,000mAh battery, the global iteration will pack a slightly smaller 7,500mAh cell. In the real world — especially if you play heavy games for hours — that 500mAh drop is unlikely to make a notable difference. The trade-off might be worth it, though, as the global model gains fast wireless charging, a feature entirely absent from the standard Chinese version.
Rounding out the spec sheet, we expect the about-to-be-launched model to be offered in configurations that scale up to a generous 16GB of physical RAM and 1TB of internal storage, in Black and Silver colorways. On the back, the camera setup features a triple array anchored by a 50-megapixel main sensor with optical image stabilization, paired with a 50-megapixel ultra-wide and a 2-megapixel macro lens.
For those eyeing the RedMagic 11S Pro Plus — which boasts much faster 120-watt wired charging — don’t hold your breath. That specific variant isn’t likely to escape the Chinese mainland.
In China, the RedMagic 11S Pro is priced from a highly competitive ¥5,499 (around $809 or ₱49,916) for the 12GB/256GB configuration. The Pro Plus version kicks off at ¥6,199 ($912 or ₱56,270) and tops out at ¥7,999 ($1,176 or ₱72,609) for the fully loaded 16GB/1TB tier. Official international price remains under wraps, but the May 27 launch event will predictably fill in those final blanks.
