Qualcomm maintains an iron grip on flagship phones and tablets with its Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 silicon, while MediaTek continues to run the table in the competitive sub-flagship segment. Top 10 flagship smartphones: It’s Qualcomm’s world
In the flagship arena, dedicated gaming hardware and aggressive thermal tuning continue to deliver the highest numbers. Taking the top spot for August is the RedMagic 11S Pro Plus, equipped with an overclocked Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 processor, 16GB of RAM, and 1TB of storage, yielding an average benchmark score of 4,118,689.
The victory was narrow. The iQOO 15 Ultra finished just behind in second place with 4,118,578 points using the same memory configuration. The RedMagic 11 Pro Plus and iQOO 15 followed in third and fourth, respectively, keeping every top-four device above the 4-million threshold.

Top 10 sub-flagship smartphones: MediaTek sweeps the board
While Qualcomm dominated the top tier, MediaTek locked down the sub-flagship category with a complete sweep. Variants of the Dimensity 8000 Series occupied all 10 positions on the chart.
The Chinese version of the HONOR 600 Pro led the pack with 2,187,704 points, powered by the Dimensity 8550 Elite. OPPO also established a heavy presence in the mid-to-high tier, securing half of the spots with its Reno and K-series models, led by the runner-up Reno16.

Top 10 tablets: Big screens, sustained power
In the tablet category, the larger chassis design allows for better heat dissipation and higher sustained clock speeds.
The Lenovo Legion Y700 Ultimate topped the tablet chart with 4,198,627 points — the highest overall score recorded across all categories for the month. It pairs an overclocked Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 processor with 24GB of RAM.
The vivo Pad6 Pro and iQOO Pad6 Pro completed the top three, with both also breaking past the 4-million threshold. MediaTek made an appearance on the tablet leaderboard as well, with the Dimensity 9500-powered Redmi K Pad 2 landing in eighth place.
