DJI just came out swinging at IFA 2026 in Berlin, officially taking the global wraps off the DJI Osmo 360 II following its debut in China last month.
Coming off years of dominating the drone and action camera markets, the company is putting pressure on the 360-degree video space by pairing heavyweight sensor hardware with a creator-friendly design. And unlike buyers in the United States — who are currently locked out without an official price or release date due to pending regulatory authorizations — creators in markets like the Philippines and Hong Kong already have the exact numbers. The Osmo 360 II starts at ₱32,490 ($531) for the Standard Combo, steps up to ₱34,490 for the Limitless Riding Combo, and tops out at ₱39,490 for the beefier Adventure Combo. Over in Hong Kong, the base version retails for HK $3,899.
The headline feature of the DJI Osmo 360 II is an industry-first 1-inch square HDR sensor. By going square rather than rectangular, DJI managed to squeeze out 25% more sensor utilization while keeping the ultra-wide 360-degree field of view intact. That hardware tweak translates to 14.5 stops of dynamic range, giving you rich contrast that can handle the harsh midday sun or deep shadows with the help of its AI SuperNight 2.0 processing.
The device shoots crisp 8K panoramic video at 60 frames per second, ensuring fast action stays sharp without motion blur. If you want to slow things down, it can pull off 4K at 240 fps, or 8K at 480 fps if you process the footage through DJI Studio. The camera also shoots 120-megapixel HDR and RAW photos, pulling double duty for still shooters.

Raw specs mean nothing if you are terrified of using the gear, though. Anyone who has ever owned a 360 camera knows the sheer panic of setting it down on a rough surface. The bulbous lenses are magnets for scratches, and traditionally, a cracked lens meant shipping the entire unit out for a costly repair. DJI is finally fixing this major pain point by debuting ultra-hard, user-replaceable lenses. If a stray rock clips your camera on a trail, you can just use the included tool to unscrew the damaged glass and swap it out yourself.
Despite packing heavy-duty hardware, the DJI Osmo 360 II weighs in at a featherlight 183 grams and comes loaded with 105GB of built-in storage right out of the box. Battery life is equally solid, hitting up to 100 minutes of continuous recording in 8K at 30 fps. When you inevitably run dry, fast-charging support juices the cell back to 80% in just 22 minutes.
On the software side, the camera introduces Spotlight Follow, which tracks subjects in a full 360 degrees so you do not have to manually reframe your shots in post-production. It also features a one-tap NFC connection to the DJI Mimo app and native support for pairing DJI Mic transmitters wirelessly.
