ASUS Zenbook 14 arrives in PH with Ceraluminum design, 3 CPU options

ASUS Philippines recently rolled out the updated ASUS Zenbook 14 locally, and it takes an unusual approach to the ultra-portable formula by giving consumers three entirely different processor options within the same thin-and-light chassis.

Whether you lean toward Qualcomm’s power-saving, ARM-based Snapdragon silicon, AMD’s Ryzen AI, or Intel’s flagship Core Ultra chips, ASUS has bundled them inside a 1.1-kilogram metal shell treated with its proprietary ceramic-aluminum composite.

Local pricing starts at ₱76,995 (around $1,225) for the Qualcomm Snapdragon X variant (UX3480QA), which arrives in Komodo Coral, while a Zabriskie Beige edition will join the shelves later in the fourth quarter of 2026. Those looking for x86 computing can pick up the AMD Ryzen AI version (UX3480KA), carrying a suggested retail price of ₱86,995 ($1,385) for the Ryzen AI 5 330 model or ₱94,995 ($1,513) for the Ryzen AI 7 345 build, both finished in Arctic Blue. The Intel Core Ultra edition (UX3480AA), which also comes in Arctic Blue, is priced from ₱106,995 ($1,703) for the Core Ultra 7 355 variant and climbs to ₱129,995 ($2,070) for the top-tier Core Ultra 9 386H SKU.

All Zenbook 14 configurations are available nationwide through official ASUS Exclusive Stores. Every purchase includes the ASUS No. 1 Quality and Service Package, a dedicated protective sleeve, a permanent Microsoft Office 2024 Home license, one year of Microsoft 365 Basic (100GB cloud storage), up to 700GB of ASUS Cloud Storage, and three months of Google AI Pro. The companion ZenMouse MD202 wireless mouse, featuring a Ceraluminum top cover, launches in mid-October for ₱4,995 ($80).

ASUS Zenbook 14 highlights

The most noticeable physical update is the lid. ASUS treated the aluminum through an electrochemical process it calls Ceraluminum, resulting in a ceramic-like matte texture that naturally repels oily fingerprints and light scuffs. At 1.3 centimeters thin, it slips into backpacks without fuss, aligning with the company’s stated goal during the Philippine launch: building a machine that gracefully handles daily commutes between offices, coffee shops, and flights.

Under the hood, each machine satisfies Copilot+ certification with dedicated Neural Processing Units delivering between 45 and 50 TOPS of AI compute:

  • Intel Core Ultra (UX3480AA): Outfitted with up to a Core Ultra 9 Series 3 chip, 24GB of LPDDR5X RAM, and a 50 TOPS NPU, this setup targets intensive mobile productivity and creative workloads.
  • AMD Ryzen AI (UX3480KA): Powered by up to a Ryzen AI 7 345 processor with a matching 50 TOPS NPU, balancing multithreaded processing with power efficiency.
  • Qualcomm Snapdragon X (UX3480QA): Built around Qualcomm’s ARM architecture with a 45 TOPS NPU, focusing squarely on longer battery life.

To keep temperatures stable, ASUS enlarged the internal fan and adjusted airflow channels, pushing the thermal capacity up to a 35-watt TDP, which is said to deliver a 25% jump compared with the previous generation. The Taiwanese manufacturer also quotes battery endurance reaching up to 33 hours under specific power-efficient workloads, backed by USB-C fast charging that uses the same compact brick you can plug into your phone.

Each model in the Zenbook 14 series is equipped with a 14-inch WUXGA OLED display with a 16:10 aspect ratio and an 89% screen-to-body ratio. ASUS says the panel is engineered to provide high dynamic contrast and true black levels for professional applications and media playback. Additionally, Intel-powered variants incorporate touchscreen functionality.

You’re looking at a full suite of physical ports, too. You get a full-sized HDMI, a legacy USB Type-A port, USB-C connections, and a 3.5mm headphone jack. This connectivity is complemented by Dolby Atmos-tuned dual speakers, a wider smart-gesture touchpad, and a tactile keyboard.
