HONOR‘s MagicOS 11 update is officially going global, bringing its Android 17-based overhaul to a range of international devices.
Following its rollout in China last month, HONOR has outlined a global deployment schedule that spans from open beta testing to a stable release expected to wrap up in March 2027. One of the main highlights is the new Liquid Glass-inspired user interface, which brings smoother animations, performance optimizations, and an enhanced YOYO AI assistant. Together, these changes aim to deliver a more responsive experience across HONOR products.
For those keen to try the new features early, the open beta program is available now and will continue through November 2026 for select open-market devices. According to the official roadmap, eligible models include the flagship Magic7 and the foldable Magic V5, alongside a range of tablets and midrange smartphones. Availability will vary by country, while carrier-locked devices may follow separate approval timelines.
For users who would rather wait for a more stable experience, the official release is scheduled to begin this month and continue through March 2027. The rollout covers more than just HONOR’s latest premium products, extending support to models dating back to the Magic5 lineup, as well as a broad selection of X Series and entry-level Play handsets.

The roadmap stands out for the number of devices included and the brand’s effort to bring a more consistent software experience across its product lineup. While the lack of a detailed, month-by-month schedule means users will have to wait for more specific rollout dates, delivering a unified, AI-focused Android 17 experience across phones, foldables, and tablets is a substantial undertaking. If the rollout stays on schedule, it could further strengthen HONOR’s software ecosystem in global markets.
