OPPO is gearing up for a busy October, with two major launches set to spotlight its latest software and flagship hardware. The company has confirmed the global unveiling dates for ColorOS 17 and the OPPO Find X10 Series, with the software debuting first on Oct. 13, followed by the flagship smartphones on Oct. 21.
The first announcement will focus on ColorOS 17, which OPPO says will introduce refined visuals and a more natural system experience. Promotional materials highlight a new “Living Flow Design,” featuring luminous visual effects that suggest a cleaner, more fluid interface designed to feel intuitive and responsive.
The update also comes amid growing anticipation for the brand’s broader software rollout across its ecosystem, including devices from OnePlus and realme. AI integration is expected to remain a key part of the experience, potentially expanding on the generative AI features introduced in previous releases while making them more accessible through everyday system functions. More details, however, will have to wait until the official unveiling.

Hoping to get the ColorOS17 update on our Find X9 unit soon
On Oct. 21, the hardware takes center stage as OPPO hosts its global launch event in Mallorca, Spain, officially unveiling the OPPO Find X10 Series. And if the Chinese-market specifications are anything to go by, the company is swinging for the fences with a lineup built around serious camera hardware.
At the top of the food chain sits the OPPO Find X10 Pro Max, a spec monster featuring a triple-200-megapixel camera setup, a 50-megapixel selfie shooter, and an ultrasonic fingerprint sensor. An optional Hasselblad Teleconverter Kit offers 10x optical, 20x lossless, and 200x digital zoom. Powering the package is a MediaTek Dimensity 9600 Pro, paired with an 8,000mAh battery, 80-watt fast charging, and a 6.78-inch, 144Hz FHD+ display.
The standard Find X10 dials things back slightly, swapping in a MediaTek Dimensity 9600M and a 50-megapixel ultra-wide camera while retaining its 200-megapixel main and telephoto sensors, an 8,000mAh battery, and a 6.59-inch, 144Hz screen.

There is one important caveat for global buyers: OPPO says selected markets will receive 7,150mAh batteries instead of the 8,000mAh units. Other specifications and accessory availability may also vary by region, so the Chinese models shouldn’t be treated as an exact blueprint for every global release.
In China, the OPPO Find X10 Pro Max is priced from roughly $1,015 or ₱63,550, while the base OPPO Find X10 costs from around $821 or ₱51,400. Global color options reportedly include Glacier Blue, Glow Coral, and Mist Grey for the Find X10, alongside Titanium Grey and Luna White for the Pro Max.
