The Doogee Mix 2 will officially go on sale in the Philippines soon, giving the market yet another value-for-money option with a taller screen that occupies more space on the front of the device.

We know this because the Doogee Mix 2 has appeared on Lazada’s Philippine website under its official local distributor, Lucky HR. It’s currently listed as “Sold Out,” though it’s customary for Lazada merchants to tease, er, post their items prior to making them available online as soon as stocks arrive.

What’s also worth mentioning is the fact that the 6GB RAM and 64GB storage model of the Mix 2 will hit the streets with a P12,995 (around $258) price tag, according to the listing. That sounds reasonable considering what the sequel offers, which is a progressive smartphone experience that both literally and figuratively expand on the formula of the original.

There’s a metal frame sandwiched by rounded glass, and there are three textured buttons on the right cheek. With the Mix 2, Doogee has also trimmed down the bezels further to make the hardware more pleasing to use even with its larger screen real estate.

The Helio P25 processor is a holdover from the previous Mix, while the dual-camera systems on the front and at the back provide versatility in their respective roles. The front-facing unit includes two 8-megapixel sensors, one of which sits behind a wide-angle lens; the second back-facing lens allows for 2x optical zoom and portrait-style images.

Both Doogee Philippines and Lucky HR are teasing the Doogee Mix 2 on their respective Facebook pages, so it shouldn’t be long before the smartphone goes on sale. And who knows, it might even come at a discounted price for a limited time.
