Announcement of the Infinix Smart 6 HD in the Philippines

You shouldn’t confuse the Infinix Smart 6 HD with the Infinix Smart 6. The design alone is different, with the just-launched smartphone lacking a rear-mounted fingerprint reader and featuring a two-toned look at the back.

This is the Infinix Smart 6, which is a bit more expensive at P5,490 ($105)

Both devices come with the same 6.6-inch HD+ LCD screen, 5-megapixel selfie camera, 5,000mAh battery, and Android version. However, the newer model, being more affordable, gets only 2GB of RAM, 32GB of storage, one 8-megapixel rear camera, and facial recognition for unlocking the phone. Unfortunately, Infinix didn’t reveal what the processor the Smart 6 HD is using. You can easily see how the the two compare below.
