Ahead of its official debut in China on May 18, RedMagic just dropped a slew of official teasers for the RedMagic 11S Pro Series, and as expected, the upcoming lineup — expected to comprise of the standard Pro and the RedMagic 11S Pro Plus — is shaping up to be an absolute monster.
First, let’s talk raw power. The RedMagic 11S Pro is armed with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 Leading Version. If that sounds like a mouthful, the translation is simple: It’s heavily overclocked. While the standard 8 Elite Gen 5 maxes out at 4.61GHz, this customized SoC pushes its prime core to 4.74GHz, directly matching the performance chips typically reserved for the Samsung Galaxy S26 Series.
nubia‘s gaming arm isn’t hiding that muscle, either. The smartphone’s design leans hard into a mecha-inspired aesthetic without crossing into tacky territory. Available in Silver Wing and Dark Night color options, it looks identical to the RedMagic 11 Pro. The chassis sports a transparent finish, alongside cameras that sit entirely flush against the back glass, preserving a bump-free profile.

RedMagic 11S Pro Plus? Looks ‘cool’!
Right in the middle sits a prominent cutout highlighting the improved AquaCore liquid cooling system. If you’ll recall, the AquaCore system introduced on the 11 Pro was responsible for practically eliminating thermal throttling, allowing the device to sustain maximum frame rates during marathon sessions. For the overclocked RedMagic 11S Pro, it promises to push heat dissipation even further while working in tandem with the active fan. It’s a necessary evolution, especially as liquid cooling rapidly becomes the gold standard for dedicated gaming handsets — a trend we’ve already seen adapted by other OEMs with products like the Infinix GT 50 Pro.
Around the front, the RedMagic 11S Pro is expected to bring a large 6.85-inch AMOLED display boasting FHD+ resolution and a fluid 144Hz refresh rate. It will likely have an under-display selfie shooter as well, along with an integrated fingerprint scanner. Keeping the whole rig alive is a giant 7,500mAh battery supported by 80-watt wired charging, ensuring you spend more time actually playing and less time tethered to a wall socket.
We’ll have to wait for next week to get the final rundown on pricing, but based on what the brand has revealed so far, the RedMagic 11S Pro Series looks poised to continue the company’s dominance in the gaming-phone space.
