Infinix has officially taken the wraps off the Infinix HOT 70 Pro 5G. It’s clear the company is aiming squarely at a younger, tech-forward crowd that wants a little more personality from their everyday carry. Between a color-changing chassis, a dedicated AI button, and a rear camera module that lets you play mini-games, it’s anything but a boring slab of glass.
Let’s start with the exterior. The HOT 70 Pro 5G measures a sleek 7.85mm thin, and Infinix is introducing two interactive colorways. There’s Thermo Orange, which dynamically shifts tones depending on the ambient temperature and the heat of your hands. Then there’s Mirage Green, an industry-first vegan leather that reacts to UV light, transitioning from a dark forest green to a bright lime when you step outside.
But the standout quirk is the Active Matrix Cube. Integrated right into the rear camera island, this secondary LED interface doesn’t just pulse for notifications and battery status. You can use it to play shake-to-play mini-games like Lucky Wheel using the phone’s gyroscope — all without ever unlocking the main display.
Under the hood, the Infinix HOT 70 Pro 5G runs on a 6-nanometer MediaTek Dimensity 7100 chipset. Depending on the market, it ships with either a 5,600mAh or 6,000mAh battery. Both configurations support 45-watt wired fast charging.

For optics, the smartphone relies on a 50-megapixel Sony IMX882 main sensor capable of 2x lossless in-sensor zoom.
Infinix is also leaning heavily into artificial intelligence with this release. The hardware features a dedicated One-Tap AI Button that instantly triggers AI FlashMemo, a built-in tool for quick voice transcriptions and note-taking.
There’s a surprisingly rugged side to this device, too. It carries an IP68 rating for dust and water resistance alongside MIL-STD-810 military-grade certification. If it does get wet, a software feature called Folax-Speaker Cleaner uses sonic vibrations to expel water and debris from the speaker grilles. And if you’re completely off the grid, an UltraLink feature allows for peer-to-peer Bluetooth communication from up to 1.5 kilometers away.
