We’re still a few months out from the start of the 2026-2027 NBA season, but 2K Games has already opened preorders for NBA 2K27 in the Philippines and the rest of the world, revealing a three-tier lineup headlined by Victor Wembanyama, Caitlin Clark, and former NBA MVP and Chicago Bulls legend Derrick Rose.
The latest iteration of the basketball franchise launches globally on Sept. 4, for the Sony PlayStation 5, Microsoft Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch 2, and PC. Notably, 2K is dropping support for older hardware this year. The original Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One have been left behind, allowing the developers to focus their efforts entirely on optimizing the experience for current-gen platforms and PC.
Also, if you want a head start on the annual grind, buying the premium editions will grant you early access beginning Aug. 28.
Here’s the breakdown of the available versions for NBA 2K27, as well as their local and U.S. pricing:
- Standard Edition (₱2,920/$69.99): Featuring San Antonio Spurs center Victor Wembanyama on the cover, this base version includes the standard game across all listed platforms.
- Deluxe Edition (₱3,950/$99.99): WNBA standout Caitlin Clark stars on this tier. It bundles the base game with early access, 100,000 VC, and a mix of MyCAREER and MyTEAM bonus content like skill boosts and exclusive jerseys.
- Ultra Edition (₱5,400/$149.99): Chicago Bulls legend Derrick Rose takes the cover for this top-shelf package. It includes everything from the Deluxe version, plus an additional 35,000 VC and bundled Season Pro Passes for upcoming content. Keep in mind that this specific edition has a limited purchase window and will only be available until Sept. 6.

With the focus shifting entirely to modern systems, NBA 2K27 will introduce a stacked lineup of returning game modes:
- The City: The open-world hub returns as the centerpiece for MyCAREER and online MyPLAYER interactions.

- MyTEAM: The staple card-collecting mode is back for building custom rosters.
- MyNBA: The franchise simulator, previously known as MyGM, allows you to control a team and simulate multiple seasons.
- Crews: A faction system where you can recruit up to 50 members and team up with friends.
- The REC: The indoor center returns for competitive 5-on-5 online matchups.
