The wait is over. The ultra-premium foldable that survived our chaotic, multi-country flight reroute earlier this year — and “pulled” an airplane during HONOR‘s local teaser campaign — finally has an official price tag in the Philippines.
The company’s latest flagship entry, the HONOR Magic V6, is officially hitting local shelves for ₱119,999 (roughly $2,142). If you’ve been holding out for a foldable that doesn’t feel like a delicate, breakable science experiment, the preorder window opens tomorrow, Aug. 25, and runs through Sept. 4. Early adopters aren’t walking away empty-handed, either. Securing a unit during this period gets you a free HONOR Pad X8b tablet, which normally retails for ₱12,999 ($232).

For the Philippine market, HONOR is bringing in the heavy-duty configuration packing 16GB of RAM and a large 512GB of internal storage. You can grab it in Red, White, or Black. We’ve been daily-driving this device again since our grueling Mobile World Congress detour through Pakistan and Thailand, and we can confirm that its super-thin 8.75mm profile still feels like a minor engineering miracle for a smartphone carrying this much hardware.
At over two grand, the Magic V6 sits unapologetically in the ultra-premium tier. But unlike some of its fragile competitors, it brings the hardware receipts to justify that hit to your wallet. The brand is leaning hard into durability, making this the only foldable on the market currently rocking both IP68 and IP69 ratings. That means it’s built to survive everything from an accidental drop in the pool to high-pressure water jets. The chassis uses a proprietary Super Steel hinge that gives the device a dense, confident feel incredibly rare in the folding space. To prove just how solid that frame is, HONOR recently took things to a new level by balancing motorcycles like a 222-kg BMW R nineT on top of a row of the devices.
HONOR Magic V6 vs motorcycles
Under the hood, the phone doesn’t pull any punches. It runs on Qualcomm’s 3nm Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 5G processor, making it a multitasking powerhouse. More importantly for mobile photography enthusiasts, the HONOR Magic V6 avoids the notorious camera downgrades usually associated with folding phones. Between its 50-megapixel ultra-light-sensitive main sensor and a 64-megapixel periscope telephoto lens with optical image stabilization, the imaging system easily competes with heavy-hitting slab flagships.
Our comprehensive, final verdict on the retail unit is currently in the works, so keep an eye out — our full HONOR Magic V6 review should be up anytime soon. But if you’ve already seen enough to take the plunge, you can lock in your preorders and check out the full launch details via HONOR’s official portal.
