Another month, another shakeup in the benchmark scene. If you thought September 2026’s numbers were wild, October’s Antutu performance rankings for Android devices in China just proved that the race is tighter than ever — and it’s largely thanks to Qualcomm’s newest powerhouse chip.
Top 10 flagship smartphones: It’s Qualcomm’s world (yet again)
Last month, the foldable Xiaomi 18 Fold ruled the rankings with its in-house XRING O3 chip. But this month, it’s been pushed down to fourth place by a new champion. Taking the No. 1 spot for Android flagships is the gaming-focused HONOR WIN 2, powered by the beast that is the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite Extreme Gen 6. It posted a monthly average score of 4,958,339 points.
It was a razor-thin victory, though. Sitting right behind it in second place is the REDMAGIC12 Pro Plus, built around the same Snapdragon chip and scoring 4,956,846 points. The iQOO 16 rounded out the top three. Unsurprisingly, Qualcomm’s new Extreme Gen 6 chip is already making its presence known, claiming the top three spots and pushing out older hardware with ease.

Top 10 sub-flagship smartphones: Make way for MediaTek
While Qualcomm runs the flagship space, MediaTek has a stranglehold on the sub-flagship tier. In fact, every single phone in the October 2026 top 10 for this category runs a Dimensity chipset.
Leading the pack is the China-specific variant of the HONOR 600 Pro, armed with MediaTek’s Dimensity 8550 Elite. It secured first place with an average score of 2,304,709 points. HONOR actually claimed a one-two punch here, with the company’s WIN Turbo taking second place (2,281,222 points) packing a Dimensity 8500 Elite processor. The iQOO Z11 completed the podium in third, proving that the sub-flagship space is more competitive than ever, especially for gamers looking for high-end performance on a tighter budget.

Top 10 tablets: Xiaomi is king
Moving over to the big screens, Xiaomi remains practically untouchable. The Chinese tech giant’s Pad 9 Pro Max is the only Android tablet on the list to crack the mythical five-million-point barrier, posting an average of 5,206,401 points. That’s all thanks to the company’s proprietary XRING O3 chipset.
Coming in second is the iQOO Pad Ultra, which is making great use of the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite Extreme Gen 6 to hit 4,847,214 points. The Lenovo Legion Y700 Wuji secured third place. Interestingly, while the Extreme Gen 6 is starting to creep into the tablet landscape, the rest of the top 10 list is heavily populated by last generation’s Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5, powering solid options like the vivo Pad6 Pro and OnePlus Pad 3 Pro.
