Clear up some space. Rockstar Games confirmed when fans can begin downloading Grand Theft Auto VI (GTA 6), plus its exact storage requirements.
The studio announced that preloads kick off as early as Nov. 9 depending on your region and console. Expect a huge 212GB install size — so you might need to delete some old games soon. Sony PlayStation 5 owners get their download times split across midnight local triggers for most of the globe, while Xbox Series X and S users see a varied schedule.

We get to step back into Vice City on Nov. 19. And if you’re playing here in the Philippines, the game unlocks for both the PS5 and Xbox Series X/S at 8 a.m. local time. You can get a head start with preloads going live on Nov. 10 at 8 a.m. PHT for both systems. Just remember that this is a console-exclusive launch for now. Rockstar won’t drop a PC version alongside these editions, though if the gap between the console and PC releases of Red Dead Redemption 2 gives us a hint, expect that port to show up sometime in 2027.
We’ve waited more than 10 years for this sequel, and the finish line is right around the corner. Grab an SSD upgrade if you need the space.
Grand Theft Auto VI pre-load begins on November 10. There’s still time to pre-order and ensure you’re able to experience Grand Theft Auto VI when it launches on November 19. Details: https://t.co/FthhVn574j https://t.co/NzfKaSMGz9
