I know a lot of you are looking for a good camera phone, and for those who are still on the market and have the cash on hand, today’s news might hold a lot of intrigue.

In a press release today, Lazada Philippines announced that starting noon Wednesday, January 27, the country’s leading online retailer will kick off its Chinese New Year sale by dropping the price of the Lenovo Vibe Shot (32GB red variant) to P8,888 from P16,999. The deal expires on January 28.

A heavily discounted Lenovo Vibe Shot is probably the best all-around phone you can get for the price.

It’s a pretty low price for a device which in my review I said was “an even better phone than the marketing would have you believe” and “a great option for nearly everything else you’d use a smartphone for.” I’d even argue that a heavily discounted Lenovo Vibe Shot is probably the best all-around phone you can get for the price. And while it won’t deliver iPhone-quality photos, it can hold its own in the midrange spectrum — and even more so among sub-P10,000 handsets.

Lazada Philippines is also set to offer the Lenovo A6000 Plus at a cheaper rate on January 26, slashing the price of the budget Android phone to P5,888 (regularly P6,999).
