Spotted on Lazada Philippines before its launch in the country: the ASUS ZenFone Max Plus (M1)

However, one advantage you’ll get from going to the phone’s launch at SM MOA Atrium on January 14 is the P7,595 (around $152) worth of freebies. The first 200 buyers will get to take home JBL T450BT headphones and ASUS sports jacket, OTG dongle, clear case, and Zenny doll.

Sadly, the device is powered by a dated MediaTek 6750T processor. But besides a display that’s perfect for watching videos and playing games, its 3GB of RAM, 32GB of internal storage, and 16- and 8-megapixel rear and front cameras may just be enough to win you over. And the 4,130mAh battery, while smaller than those of other Max models, is still huge by smartphone standards.
