On May 25, we broke the news that the Samsung Galaxy J6 is coming to the country with Filipina actress Nadine Lustre as endorser. Earlier, Samsung Electronics Philippines has finally confirmed that the smartphone will be available here.
The Korean tech giant has posted on Facebook a behind-the-scenes shoot of the Galaxy J6 TV commercial starring Lustre. You can already see based on the video below that Samsung is marketing the J6 as an entertainment device, with emphasis on music, movies, and gaming.
The caption of the post says the phone will be available on June 16, but we’ve learned that it’s actually already on sale at Samsung concept stores. According to an SM Megamall branch employee we talked to over the phone (the number is +632.631.1276, in case you’re interested), the Samsung Galaxy J6 with 3GB of RAM and 32GB of internal memory is priced at P13,990 (around $267). There are two colors to choose from: black and gold.
