The OPPO Find X brings the brand back to the world of flagship devices. And what an entrance!
OPPO even had to relocate the cameras on a hidden moving part that slides up when you need to unlock the phone or take a picture, or animate lifelike avatars called Omojis using just the user’s face. Omojis can be viewed on pretty much any mobile device, as the animation is saved as a short video file with audio.
Robi Domingo takes the OPPO Find X #OmojiChallenge
And to illustrate just how fun and accessible Omojis are on the OPPO Find X, we’ve invited TV host and celebrity Robi Domingo to showcase his acting chops in the #OmojiChallenge. Watch the embedded clip above, and tell us how he fared.
Of course, beyond creating and sending Omojis, the Find X’s unique moving part also houses an infrared camera, an illuminator, and a dot projector for portrait lighting effects and personalized enhancements in beauty mode.
Equally noteworthy, the Find X arrives with the highest screen-to-body ratio we’ve ever seen on a commercial smartphone. OPPO says the curved OLED panel covers almost 94 percent of the front.
For serious mobile gamers, the Find X is also one of the fastest phones top money can get you right now, packing a Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 inside with up to 8GB RAM and 256GB storage.
The OPPO Find X is available in the Philippines for P49,990 or around $923 off contract, for the 8GB RAM and 256GB model in either Glacier Blue or Bordeaux Red. You can also get it by subscribing to a postpaid plan in the Smart Communications portfolio.
