So it’s not just the Xiaomi Mi 8 Lite that will be launched in the Philippines in November. If you’re looking for a more powerful Mi phone, you’d be glad to know that the Xiaomi Mi 8 Pro will be available locally as well, with the company starting to tease the device in the country.
The post below, published on November 3, reveals that the release date is scheduled for November 8, just in time for the Christmas shopping season.
The Xiaomi Mi 8 Pro is actually a lot like the regular Mi 8, but with the fingerprint sensor built into the OLED panel. The 6.21-inch display features a resolution of 2,248 x 1,080 and an aspect ratio of 18.7:9. The notch at the top houses a 20-megapixel selfie camera next to the IR camera and illuminator. The back, on the other hand, has two 12-megapixel cameras on the back.
The smartphone is also powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 processor paired with 128GB of storage and either 6GB or 8GB of RAM. It runs MIUI 10-based Android 8.1 Oreo and packs a 3,400mAh battery that supports fast charging.
