Mark those calendars, people: The Vivo V15 and V15 Pro will be launched in the Philippines on March 20, just a couple of weeks from now.

We don’t know when they’ll arrive in stores and how much exactly Vivo’s latest midrange offerings cost, but we’ll probably know more as the event nears.

We previously reported that the Vivo V15 was announced in Thailand with a price tag that’s equivalent to around P17,000 or $326 converted. In India, the Vivo V15 Pro starts at roughly P21,445 or $411 after conversion. Last year’s Vivo V11 was sold for P19,999 ($383) here at launch.

The upcoming phones boast attractive gradient designs and full-screen displays without a notch or a display hole of any kind, as well as a 32-megapixel motorized selfie camera that pops up from inside the frame. They’re more similar than different in terms of how they look and feel on the outside.

One notable difference is the presence of a traditional fingerprint scanner on the back of the regular V15. The Vivo V15 Pro sees the sensor embedded underneath the display glass. The V15 offers more screen real estate to go along with its higher battery capacity.

The main camera sensor is also different, with the V15 Pro sporting an upgraded 48-megapixel sensor compared to 12 megapixels on the V15. Both phones feature ultra-wide-angle and depth-sensing cameras for bokeh.

Naturally, the V15 Pro offers more processing power and better graphics with the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 675 under the hood. The V15 is equipped with a Mediatek Helio P70 mated to 6GB RAM and 128GB storage.
