Samsung Galaxy M20 is P1,500 ($29) off for limited time

The Samsung Galaxy M20 is one of the company’s best budget smartphones ever, featuring a massive a 5,000mAh battery, an almost-bezel-less touchscreen, and a dual-lens setup with a wide-angle option, all in a plastic unibody build that looks better than its price would suggest.

And for a limited time, you can buy the Galaxy M20 online at a much cheaper cost than its recently discounted price tag of P10,490 (around $201).

According to a press release issued today, Samsung Electronics Philippines will have a flash sale for the budget phone on April 27 and April 30, where customers can get it for only P8,990 ($172), a significant markdown from its launch price of P10,990 ($210).

This deal is exclusive to select online retailers in the Philippines, such as Lazada, Shopee, Argomall, Abenson, and MemoXpress. It won’t be offered at offline retail. Once the promotion ends, the price of the Samsung Galaxy M20 will revert to its current cost of P10,490 ($201). The phone is available in Charcoal Black and Ocean Blue colors.

As for the specs, the Galaxy M20 sees a 6.3-inch display on the front, 13- and 5-megapixel cameras at the back, with the latter touting an extra-wide-angle lens, and an Exynos 7904 processor with 3GB RAM under the hood. Meanwhile, the front-facing camera is 8 megapixels.

Samsung quotes a two-day battery life and a video-playback time of 28.5 hours for the 5,000mAh battery, which is pretty impressive for a low-cost handset. The Galaxy M20 also gets 15-watt fast charging to quickly juice up the battery beside an outlet.
