The premium ASUS ROG Phone 2 Ultimate Edition with 12GB of RAM and 1TB of storage — priced at P59,995 (around $1,181) — is now available for preorder in the Philippines starting today, December 7, until December 13.

There are two bundles you can choose from. First is the Overdrive Gaming 2.0 set. Besides the phone, it includes the ROG Kunai Gamepad (worth P6,995 or $138), the Lighting Armor Case (P2,495 or $49), and an ROG exclusive jacket (P2,495 or $49) for the price of P64,995 ($1,279) instead of the total amount of P71,980 ($1,417).

Second, there’s the Wear Victory 2.0 bundle. You get a free ROG exclusive jacket with the ASUS ROG Phone 2 Ultimate Edition only without added cost. But to get the jacket, you will need to answer this form.

You can preorder any of the two bundles at ASUS Concept Stores, ROG Concept Stores, ASUS kiosks, ZenFone kiosks, and accredited partners. And you will need to make a non-refundable down payment of P5,000 ($98) when you reserve the Overdrive Gaming 2.0 bundle. But if you only want the phone, there’s no need for the down payment.

The ASUS ROG Phone 2 Ultimate Edition can be claimed starting December 21, or earlier, depending on availability. The company will inform you via SMS when you can get your purchase.

You need to pay the full balance before you can claim your unit. Make sure you have a valid ID and the issued original receipt with you. If a proxy is claiming the handset for you, they will need the receipt and a photocopy of two of yours and your representative’s valid IDs.

If you decide to cancel your preorder, you can still use the reservation fee to buy any ASUS or ROG product from the store you initially transacted with. The preorder reservation fee will only be valid until December 24. After that date, the reservation fee will be forfeited if you can’t claim the unit and pay the full amount within the allotted time.

The ASUS ROG Phone 2 Ultimate Edition is one of the most premium smartphones out on the market right now. It comes equipped with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 Plus processor paired with Adreno 640 GPU. It also boasts UFS 3.0 storage, a 6.59-inch AMOLED FHD+ display with 120Hz refresh rate, and a 6,000mAh battery with support for 30-watt fast charging.

The gaming handset has consistently topped benchmark app Antutu’s monthly list of best-performing Android smartphones.
