Earlier this month, Vivo unveiled the Y31 in India with a 48-megapixel triple camera and Android 11-based Funtouch OS 11, among other key specs. Now, the phone maker has announced that the Vivo Y31 will be launched in the Philippines February 5.

Vivo Y31 coming February 5!

Local pricing and availability details should be announced on the said date. Pretty much everything about the smartphone is known at this point short of a full announcement. We recently published our unboxing and initial impressions of the Vivo Y31, and we think the company is off to a promising start with its latest Y series handset. Hopefully, the model won’t cost too much when it arrives on our shores.

The Vivo Y31 launched in India with a ₹16,490 price tag, which translates to roughly P10,871 or $226, for 6GB RAM and 128GB of expandable storage. It is available in Racing Black and Ocean Blue colors.

The biggest selling point here is the phone’s sleek and gorgeous hardware, which features a camera module reminiscent of the Vivo X50 Pro 5G‘s. The 48-megapixel main sensor doesn’t disappoint, too, and boasts AI scene recognition, Portrait Framing, and Night mode in the native camera app.

Sleek and gorgeous

On top of that, the local variant of the Y31 has a 5,000mAh battery with 18-watt fast charging over a USB-C port. Considering the battery capacity and max power output of the included charger, you should be able to fully recharge the unit from zero to full in under three hours.

We’ll have the full specs of our review sample up on the site once the embargo lifts. In the meantime, you may want to check out our preview article about the Vivo Y31 in case you haven’t seen it.
