Two weeks after the 2021 iPhones got their global debut, we finally have local pre-purchase and availability details of the new Apple devices.

The iPhone 13 mini, iPhone 13, iPhone 13 Pro, and iPhone 13 Pro Max will all go up for preorder in the Philippines starting October 15, with release scheduled for October 22. You may get them from the official Apple online store, authorized Apple resellers, and telco partners Globe Telecom and Smart Communications.

The postpaid plans and prepaid offers have not been disclosed at the time of posting this article, but we do know how much the 5G handsets are if you want to buy any of them from the online shop. See the complete list of prices here:

The non-Pro iPhones get some notable internal upgrades, with more processing power and longer battery life. The screen sizes are the same as last year’s, except the notch is smaller by 20% and the Super Retina XDR panels will seem brighter.

There are two 12-megapixel cameras on the back, with the primary sensor sporting the same unit found in the iPhone 12 Pro Max’s wide cam that has bigger pixels and can do sensor-shift stabilization. The 12-megapixel selfie camera, on the other hand, now supports Apple Center Stage, so you and your friends — or whoever is beside you — will surely be in the frame.

The Pro models boast more significant upgrades, such as OLED displays that can go as low as 10Hz and as high as 120Hz, resulting in smoother on-screen animations and a more fluid gameplay. The sensors, lenses, and image processing have been improved, so that the smartphones can capture more light, offer up to 3x optical magnification, shoot macros, and support Night mode on all three cameras.

Content creators, most especially, will most likely want the Cinematic mode and Photographic Styles here. Of course, there’s support for Apple’s ProRes video codec, too. This is something handy for anyone who prefers editing their videos at a later time.
