Infinix Mobile has taken the wraps off its newest smartphones globally — and they happen to be the first 5G-enabled models in the brand’s Note 12 series, courtesy of a MediaTek Dimensity 810 5G chipset paired with up to 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage.

The Infinix Note 12 Pro 5G and Infinix Note 12 5G have been launched with suggested retail prices of $249 (roughly P13,934) and $199 (P11,136), respectively, and with India getting the handsets first. Pricing and availability will vary from region to region, as expected, though. We still don’t know when or if any or both of the phones will be sold in the Philippines, but because the company sent the local media a press release, we’re pretty sure at least one of them will be released in the country.

Besides access to the latest generation of mobile network, one of the lineup’s highlights is what Infinix claims as “a top-notch photography system with three high-definition cameras.” The Pro version, in particular, is equipped with the latest 108-megapixel Samsung S5KHM6 sensor on the back. Both come with a 16-megapixel camera for selfies.

The Infinix Note 12 Pro 5G and Infinix Note 12 5G likewise share the following features: a 6.7-inch AMOLED screen; a big, 5000mAh battery that supports up to 33 watts of fast charging; a fingerprint sensor that doubles as a power key; and an Android 12-based user interface. The two smartphones are available in Force Black and Snowfall White.
