It looks like the Infinix Zero Ultra 5G, which is set to launch globally on October 5, will also get a Philippine release, though that’s hardly surprising given the brand’s local popularity.

(Update, October 5: The Infinix Zero Ultra 5G has launched globally!)

The upcoming flagship phone from Infinix Mobile has been listed for preorder on the company’s official store on Lazada, just days ahead of the Zero Ultra 5G’s international announcement later this week. According to the listing we found, the Philippines will get an 8GB/256GB configuration in Genesis Noir (read: black) and Coslight Silver colors.

The Lazada listing confirms some of the smartphone’s key specs, including the 6nm MediaTek Dimensity 920 5G chipset under the hood, 4,500mAh battery that keeps the lights on, 200-megapixel camera on the back, and 32-megapixel front-facing cam for selfies.

The handset will support virtual RAM as well, allowing you to use the internal storage to expand the memory up to 13GB. Another highlight is the Infinix Zero Ultra 5G’s curved 6.8-inch AMOLED display with FHD+ resolution.

But perhaps the most exciting feature of the upcoming flagship is Infinix’s 180-watt Thunder Charge standard, which is claimed to top up the built-in battery from zero to full in just 12 minutes. Yes, that’s not a typo! When it arrives here, the Infinix Zero Ultra 5G will be the fastest-charging device on the local market with its ability to reach a full charge in the time it takes for you to hard-boil an egg.

Unfortunately, there’s no mention about local pricing and availability in the posting for now, but we think that could change in a few days, as the brand is likely to reveal the Zero Ultra 5G’s international MSRP during the launch event. Hopefully, the price is right on this one and not outrageous as some of the specs mentioned above.
