Today, we finally got word that the Vivo Y02 will be available for purchase for P5,299 (roughly $96) at the company’s kiosks and stores nationwide starting tomorrow, December 10. You’ll also get a chance to score prizes from the Paskong La Vivo Loca Festival that’s happening until January 31, 2023.

If you’d rather get the Vivo Y02 online, you can do so on the brand’s website, Lazada, Shopee, or TikTok beginning December 15. Vivo says there will be an exclusive discount for online shoppers, but doesn’t mention the specific details.

The Vivo Y02 is a starter phone, but it does look trendy and more expensive than its price suggests. It has a 2.5D body and flat frame and is only 8.49mm thick. A huge module on the back houses an 8-megapixel camera. Turn the device around, and you’ll see a 5-megapixel selfie camera inside a waterdrop notch at the top center of the 6.51-inch HD+ screen.

The smartphone likewise features a 5,000mAh battery with 10-watt charging; a MediaTek Helio P22 chip paired with 2GB RAM and 32GB storage, expandable up to 1TB; and Android 12 Go edition-based Funtouch OS 12. You can read more about the Y02 in Vivo Philippines’ press release below.
