Huawei Philippines is quite busy these days. Barely a week after launching the Huawei Watch Ultimate, it has announced another upcoming product drop — but this time for the young and trendy set.

(Update, June 20: We just posted these today: Huawei nova 11i vs OPPO A77s: Which phone is the better option for you? and Huawei nova 11 Pro, nova 11, nova 11i priced from P11,999 [$216] in PH)

According to the company, it will unveil the Huawei nova 11 series in the country June 21. Recall that the nova 11 Ultra, nova 11 Pro, and nova 11 debuted in China in April. Another model, the nova 11i, became official in South Africa more than two weeks after.

However, based on the press release Huawei emailed us today, only the Huawei nova 11 Pro, nova 11, and nova 11i will become available in the Philippines. So if you’re waiting for the Huawei nova 11 Ultra’s local release because it debuts the brand’s variable-aperture camera system on a Nova phone, we say don’t keep your hopes up, at least for now. To the unfamiliar, the said lens system is similar to those found in the Huawei Mate 50 Pro and Huawei P60 Pro.

The new nova’s Pro and regular versions boast a rear-camera setup that pairs a 50-megapixel primary sensor with an 8-megapixel ultrawide lens that doubles as a macro shooter when needed. They pack a 60-megapixel selfie cam, too, though the nova 11 Pro adds a dedicated 8-megapixel portrait-zoom sensor for zooming in on videos — useful when shooting, say, makeup tutorials.

Both are equipped with a 4,500mAh battery, but you can fully charge the Pro model in around 20 minutes when the screen is off, as it supports 100-watt fast charging. The Huawei nova 11 with 66W SuperCharge Turbo, on the other hand, can go from 0% to 100% in about 31 minutes.

Two highlights of the Huawei nova 11 Pro that are worth mentioning are its 6.78-inch OLED display protected by Kunlun glass and green color variant’s back panel covered by vegan leather with the classic monogram nova logo.

As for the Huawei nova 11i, the most affordable in the series features a 48-megapixel dual-rear-camera system, a 16-megapixel selfie shooter, and a 5,000mAh battery with 40-watt fast charging.

In China, the Huawei nova 11 Pro and nova 11 are priced from ¥3,499 (roughly P27,315 or $490) and ¥2,499 (P19,508 or $350), respectively. In South Africa, the Huawei nova 11i costs R5,999 (P17,990 or $323). You can find more information on the trio in the press release and specs sheets below. Just keep in mind that the latter list specs found in models released in other countries.
